All the banners, DJ, refreshments, support staff and team jerseys\u00a0were in place. Much to our surprise participants reported 15 minutes before time. We could clearly see the excitement on their\u00a0faces, they were just raring to go. Soon it\u00a0was\u00a08 a.m. the schedule start time, absolutely clear sky, bright sunny day and gentle breeze across the stadium.<\/p>\n<p>And the first ball&#8230;&#8230;.. a cracking square cut\u00a0over point resulted in four. That was pretty much the story of first match and within an hour\u00a0we were into the last over of the match, with batting team chasing\u00a028 runs\u00a0in 5 balls..<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"28 required of 5 balls.... see what happens\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/m2wCXlzRlPE?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The atmosphere become electric with lot of adrenaline rush and the air was filled with exuberance.The stage was set for our maiden sports event &#8220;GW Cric8 Championship&#8221; at LB Stadium, Hyderabad. We also want to thank the sponsors of the event Smaaash Hyderabad, Bisleri and Surya Trophy House for much needed support to make our maiden sports event successful.<\/p>\n<p>The shorter format was specifically designed to accommodate more and more team in the tournament and give participants a chance to experience fun of playing in an International cricket stadium, idea was to give exciting and fun filled weekend.
